This is painfully and consistently emphasized by Laura Bailey’s performance, a role someone should be punished for having her do. So her whole gimmick is that she’s a crybaby who doesn’t want to fight. I should warn you that it’s potentially NSFW: Meanwhile, here’s a sample of Pyrrha’s lines during battle. They at least exude an air of confidence and commitment to fight. Yet compared to the scantly-clad walking balloons that are Ivy and Taki, at least they, in a narrative sense, chose to dress the way they do, and also choose to do battle in the Soul Calibut tournament (or whatever the hell its called). You probably think such a statement is impossible considering she’s wearing clothes, right?
